The Cultural Heritage Council has partnered with Intuit and Stockton Unified School District to bring the first Free Tax Event to San Joaquin County. The Event will take place on Saturday March 20, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cesar Chavez High School.

You qualify to file your Federal and State return for FREE if ONE of the following applies to you for tax year 2009.

Earned $31,000 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or less in 2009: OR

Qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC): OR

Serviced Active Military Duty – Includes Reservist and National Guard – with a 2009 W-2 and an AGI of $57,000 or less
